Hand2Hand Ministries is a resource to help combat hunger in the community. This ministry provides healthy food to children over the weekend so they may have opportunities to succeed academically, emotionally, and physically. This ministry is lead by coordinator Cindy Bosman and volunteer coordinator Janelle Kappel.
How does H2H provide food to students?
Christ Memorial is partnered with Holland West K-7, Holland High School, VR Tech, and Escape Ministries to provide weekly food bags to students. The items provided in the bags may include snacks, drinks, other non-perishable items, and a meal. Fresh produce will also be provided as available. Each week 3,500 items are needed to fill 330 food bags.
How do I get involved?
With cash donations H2H is able to purchase from the food bank at a greatly reduced cost, but food donations are appreciated as well. Clearly mark “Hand2Hand” on the outside of the giving envelope (or regular envelope) and note on check memo line if giving during the services or send your donation to:
