    Discipleship is more than belief.  It is a journey to becoming more and more like Jesus. It is a life-long commitment to intentionally follow Jesus, experiencing life the way he did.

    Being a disciple is living life in the power of the Holy Spirit.  It is trusting the promise that we can flourish in the Kingdom of God no matter what our circumstances. It means waking up every morning to an adventure with God.  It nudges us to reach out to others, loving and serving them in the name of Jesus.

    Christ Memorial Church offers opportunities for developing the facets of a balanced Christian life that we see in Jesus:

    ● a life empowered by the Holy Spirit
    ● a life of compassion
    ● a life centered on the Bible
    ● a life awake to God’s presence in the ordinary world

    Community Life Ministries

    Growth Communities
    Growth Communities are groups of 15 – 50 people who meet weekly to for about ten weeks in the fall, ten weeks in the winter, and five weeks in the spring to:
    ● Learn together;
    ● Build community and care for each other;
    ● Serve and build relationships with people outside the church;
    ● Partner with local, national, and international mission efforts.
