Blind Faith
How can I accept God on the basis of blind faith?
Isn’t it true, Joe, that we are wired to have all the answers before “jumping on board?” We rely on seeing it, touching it, hearing it, test driving it, before buying it. Going into something blindly is not exactly what we have been taught to do. Jumping on board with God doesn’t mean a person is going to have all the answers to big tough questions. Joe, the Bible talks about faith using terms like having faith the size of a mustard seed. Have you ever seen a mustard seed? It’s barely visible to the human eye. Yet it produces a pretty good sized tree. Another example given is that there’s mention of having a child-like faith. If you have experienced a nudging to look into this God/Jesus stuff, water it. Ask someone you know who you think has a real faith about this. Listen to their story.
