Madanapalle, India
CMC missionary Linn Gann serves as a business consultant and mission facilitator for the RCA and the Church of South India in Madanapalle (near Bangalore). Her work includes oversight of the Geegh Nursery School, networking with two high schools, and developing micro-enterprise for young mothers. CMC has supported building projects for the boys and girls schools through CSI in recent Thanksgiving Offerings. CMC sent a short-term mission team to Madanapalle in February/March 2007.Thailand
Chiang Mai, Thailand, is a central location for many agencies working to reach this part of the world for Christ. CMC supports a couple who work to support these ministries by teaching at an international school and working in support services for their agency. (Because of the sensitive nature of this work, their names are withheld). CMC sent a short-term mission team to Thailand in February/March 2007.
Vi Thanh, Vietnam
Vi Thanh is located in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam. Outside of town, this area is filled with rice paddies. The Vi Thanh Church is the only presence of Protestant Christianity in Vi Thanh, and one of only seven churches in the entire region. Public school fees prohibit many children from attending any school, but through scholarships, the Vi Thanh Christian School can offer education to kids who would otherwise be working. Not only does this education offer a step up in life, but better yet, it presents the Gospel to children and families who would otherwise never hear it. CMC sent a short-term mission team to Vietnam in February/March 2007.
