GIVING BACK TO GOD
In October and November our children will be collecting non-perishable items for the Thanksgiving boxes. In December they will collect mittens, hats and scarves for local missions. They may put items in the “garbage can” bins located all over the Children’s Ministries area.
From January through May, our children will be collecting money for “GodPods” for Mozambique.” The RCA, working with Audio Scripture Ministries, is working to get the Bible into the hands of these people in a form they can use and understand. Personal audio players, or “GodPods,” contain a native language translation of the Bible. A gift of $40 will enable a Mozambican family to receive a GodPod. The goal is to distribute GodPods to 300 families in Mozambique.
