Multicultural Life is rooted in the EPIC vision of worship found in Revelation 7:9. “There was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.”
Vision
We exist to blend ethnic and economic diversity into the core and fabric of Christ Memorial Church, celebrating the richness and values of the qualities, contributions, experiences, and differences of our diverse city.
Mission
Our mission is to serve as a haven of support and celebration of diversity creating bridges to engage in authentic cross-cultural relationships as together we follow Jesus.Jesus prayed, “I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.” (John 17:21-23).
